Krontjong devils (NL) - Surf/Frat Rock/R'N'R

Die Krontjong Devils aus Groningen sind die absolute Nummer 1 der niederländischen Surfbands, sie stehen für einen energischen und dynamischen Sound. In ihrer 10jährigen Entwicklung haben sie sich in Holland hochgespielt, um in weitere Gefilde zu surfen. Ihre Authenzität haben sie sich durch Segnung einer Ihrer Gitarren vom Gott, Großmeister und Hohepriester des Surf Sounds, Mr. Dick Dale, gesichert. Die drei Jungs um Harry de Groot zeigen einmal mehr, welch gutes Pflaster die Beneluxstaaten für gute 60ties Musik ist.

Ever since 1991 four handsome fellows from Groningen, The Netherlands known as The Krontjong Devils provided the world with a fine mix of vocal songs and wild, wet, reverb-drenched surf instrumentals. These sounds can be heard on several EP's and compilations released in Europe as well as in the USA and on their On Tour LP on Telstar Records (USA) and on their latest LP "En Garde!" on Oetstar Rekkers (NL). The Krontjong Devils get their inspiration from bands like The Trashmen, The Astronauts, The Bobby Fuller IV and "modern" bands like The Phantom Surfers and the Untamed Youth and, of course, from King Uszniewicz and the Uszniewicztones.
The Krontjong Devils shared the stage with Dick Dale, The Untamed Youth, Man Or Astroman, The Trashwomen, The Royal Pendletons etc.

Rumblers (NL) - Surf

THE RUMBLERS are a 3-piece orchestra that specialises in playing instrumental rock and roll.
Link Wray (“Rumble”), The Shadows (“Apache”) and The Ventures (“Walk don’t run”) are of course favourites in the genre.
Besides that the repertoire consists of lesser known instrumentals and a few originals.

THE RUMBLERS are:

Harry Kingma (also played in The Firebirds) – Bass
Erik Aalders – Drums
