Surf Dads

Surf Dads had an unlikely start and plenty of hills to climb. With Chris Dimas living in California and Gage McGuire living in Saskatchewan, being separated by 2800 kilometers was less than ideal when trying to start a band. After a few months of sending iPhone recordings back and forth, Chris came back for Christmas and their debut record "Denny's EP" was born.

For their next effort “Dark Dads” the physical distance between the two weighed heavily on them. With half the EP recorded in Regina, and the other half recorded in LA, the duo had never played two of the four songs in the same room. Having complete trust in one in other, they finished the record in less than a month and released it on May 23, 2015.
