30 JAHRE FRIEDLICHE REVOLUTION – GEDENKSTÄTTE BAUTZNER STRAßE

Ein wichtiger Ort für die Friedliche Revolution in der DDR war in Dresden die hiesige Außenstelle der Stasi (Ministerium für Staatssicherheit der DDR) und Gefängnis auf der Bautzner Straße. Hier ist heute eine Gedenkstätte, die an die politische Opposition gegen diese Institution – innenpolitische Geheimpolizei, Ermittlungsbehörde und Auslandsnachrichtendienst in einem – erinnert. Am Sonnabend, 9. November 2019, dem Jahrestag des Falls der Berliner Mauer, erfahren Sie bei einer Führung „STASI. Die Ausstellung zur DDR-Staatssicherheit“, was in Dresden im Herbst´89 geschah. Nach einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen kehren wir zurück in die Gegenwart und Sie können beim Comicworkshop „fremdvertraut“ Ihre Zeichenkünste schulen und über die aktuellen Fragen von Aufbruch, Fremde und neuer Heimat reflektieren.

PEACEFUL REVOLUTION 1989 – BAUTZNER STRAßE MEMORIAL

An important place for the peaceful revolution in the GDR was the regional office of the Stasi (Ministry of State Security of the GDR) and prison at Bautzner Straße in Dresden. Today, a memorial and museum commemorates the political opposition against this institution that was domestic secret police, investigative agency and foreign intelligence service in one. On Saturday, November 9th, 2019, the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, you will learn about the events that took place in Dresden in autumn '89, during a guided tour of the exhibition "STASI. Exhibition on the GDR state security". After lunch together, we return to the present days and you can train your drawing skills in the comic workshop "familiarstrange". It gives you and other students from around the world the opportunity to reflect on the current questions of departure, living abroad and finding a new home.
