Dann her damit! Ich fang gleich mal an: Marillion mit Kaylei Do you remember chalk hearts melting on a playground wall Do you remember chalk hearts melting on a playground wall Do you remember dawn escapes from moon washed college halls Do you remember the cherry blossom in the market square Do you remember I thought it was confetti in our hair By the way didn't I break your heart? Please excuse me, I never meant to break your heart So sorry, I never meant to break your heart But you broke mine Kayleigh is it too late to say I'm sorry? And Kayleigh could we get it together again? I just can't go on pretending that it came to a natural end Kayleigh, oh I never thought I'd miss you And Kayleigh I thought that we'd always be friends We said our love would last forever So how did it come to this bitter end?
Do you remember barefoot on the lawn with shooting stars Do you remember loving on the floor in Belsize Park Do you remember dancing in stilettoes in the snow Do you remember you never understood I had to go By the way, didn't I break your heart Please excuse me, I never meant to break your heart So sorry, I never meant to break your heart But you broke mine
Kayleigh I just wanna say I'm sorry But Kayleigh I'm too scared to pick up the phone To hear you've found another lover to patch up our broken home Kayleigh I'm still trying to write that love song Kayleigh it's more important to me now you're gone Maybe it will prove that we were right Or ever prove that I was wrong

Ich finde niemand kann über Jahre unerwiderte Liebe besser beschreiben als Bob Dylan in diesem Song: Can't Wait I can't wait, wait for you to change your mind It's late, I'm tryin' to walk the line Well, it's way past midnight And there's some people all around Some on their way up, some on their way down The air burns and I'm tryin' to think straight An' I don't know how much longer I can wait.
I'm your man, I'm tryin' to recover the sweet love that we knew You understand that my heart can't go on beatin' without you Well your loveliness has wounded me I'm reelin' from the blow I wish I knew what it was that keeps me lovin' you so I'm breathin' hard, standin' at the gate Ah, but I don't know how much longer I can wait.
Skies are gray I'm lookin' for anything that will bring a happy glow Night or day, it doesn't matter where I go anymore, I just go If I ever saw you comin' I don't know what I might do I'd like to think I could control myself but it isn't true That's how it is when things disintegrate And I don't know how much longer I can wait.
I'm doomed to love you I've been rollin' through stormy weather I'm thinkin' of you And all the places we could roam together.
It's mighty funny The end of time has just begun Oh, honey, after all these years you're still the one Well, I'm strollin' through the lonely graveyard of my mind I left my life with you somewhere back there along the line I thought somehow that I would be spared this fate I don't know how much longer I can wait.
--------------------
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but its sinking. And racing around to come up behind you again...
