lowdesertpunk Punkte: 3684 seit: 01.10.2003	nagut. das jahr neigt sich dem ende. nurnoch 3mal werden neue platten erscheinen. da kann man imho schonma beginnen, das ganze etwas zu resümieren. was waren eure musikalischen highlights, was eure enttäuschungen 2004? meine (noch nicht finale und !unsortierte!) liste der alben und konzerte des jahres: alben: »liquid visions ¤ from the cube »brant bjork ¤ local angel »datsuns ¤ outta sight/outta mind »clutch ¤ blast tyrant »auf der maur ¤ dto »probot ¤ dto »coogans bluff ¤ flex till death »gorilla monsoon ¤ demonstrating heavyness »norah jones ¤ feels like home »beatsteaks ¤ smack smash »eagles of death metal ¤ peace love death metal »fu manchu ¤ start the machine »...(einige alben werd ich mir noch anschaffen, andere nich, weil die vinylpressung sich hinzieht, schaumermal) konzerte: »atomic bitchwax @ f-haus, jena »sunride @ the church, dresden »dozer @ the church, dresden »black rebel motorcycle club @ hurricane, scheeßel »hypnos 69 @ stoned from the underground, erfurt »peter pan speedrock @ groovestation, dresden »flaming sideburns @ rosenkeller, jena »WE @ rosenkeller, jena »baby woodrose @ rosenkeller, jena »... (beatsteaks @ schlachthof, dresden? ) -------------------- -roll the rocks- » Stoner rock doesn't bother me. If thats what the people decide to call this musical movement then so be it. I just hope it doesn't become too formulaic. There is nothing wrong with Black Sabbath riffs and songs about weed ... I would just like it to evolve musically as much as stay the same. That way we can talk about stoner rock in 15 years and it will still be a vital and credible thing. « (Brant Bjork)
